The Superhero returns and Zacharias put the test…..

Tthe KZN Feature season in full swing and Crawford Racing has some lively runners tomorrow at Greyville, in one of the most anticipated rematches in the Daily News 2000.

Captain America has his 2nd run in KZN. He needed his first outing at Greyville and all reports from the yard are positive. Brett talking from Summerveld had this to say, ” The Captain is doing very well at home. He needed his first run and has come on tremendously at home. I am expecting a big effort from him.” The Superhero again takes on Legislate and recent Triple Crown Winner Louis The King. One thing is for sure, he will give a good account of himself.

Captain America

Seen this morning at Summerveld, Captain America looks fit and well and ready for the Daily News 2000.

Another interesting runner for the yard tomorrow is Zacharias. Not the most robust of fillies, she has not put a foot wrong by winning her last 4 starts and deservedly steps up to Grade 1 level in the Woolhavington tomorrow. Reportedly doing very well, Brett commented,” She is in good form. At the ratings it is a very tough task. She has proved she has some class about her and we are expecting her to continue her great form at the moment, and expect her to run into the first four.”

Zacharias is on the up and continues to improve, worth watching tomorrow

The yard have 2 other runners on the day. Wavin’ Flag runs in the Lonsdale. He has a handy galloping mass on his back and ran a tremendous race in the recent Bettingworld Consolation where he was beaten by his stablemate FUTURA. He is drawn well and will be competitive.

Rounding off the Quartet of Crawford runners in KZN tomorrow is the Juvenile Major Vaughan. He is also reported to be doing very well and the yard are expecting a big run from him.
